Whirlwind Week Part 4: Badlands And Wall Drug
Updated: Apr 24
Mid July 2022
As we were driving through South Dakota, we stopped at Badlands National Park.
We had fun looking at the prairie dogs and the awesome formations. I learned lots of facts about the Badlands. In the native american language, "mako sica", the name for the area, is literally translated to "bad lands". Sadly, we didn't get to see any bison.
Prairie dogs are the best in the Badlands. They pop out of the ground. - KC
When we got to Wall Drug, KC had fallen asleep, so he and Dad went back to the bus to relax. For lunch, Mom, Pickles, and I split a buffalo burger (it was really good).
We had a ton of fun looking at all the different shops.
It was crazy seeing all the trinket for sale.

Stay Tuned for our Adventures in Minnesota.
